Norcross IT questions, answered
Questions owners, operations managers and office managers in Norcross ask us most often.
What does managed IT include for a warehouse or plant?
Everything an office plan covers, plus the floor: scanners, label printers, shared PCs, warehouse Wi-Fi and the link between them and your order or production system. We also manage the vendors behind that equipment.
Which areas around Norcross do you cover?
Norcross and its historic downtown, the Jimmy Carter Boulevard and Buford Highway corridors, the industrial parks near I-85 and Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, and nearby Peachtree Corners, Duluth, Lilburn and Tucker.
How quickly do you respond?
A senior engineer replies to new inquiries within one business day. For clients, response targets by urgency are written into the agreement, and most requests are handled remotely.
Our scanners keep losing Wi-Fi in the back aisles. Can you fix that?
Usually. We survey the signal where pickers actually walk, move or add access points for full racks and metal walls, and tune roaming so scanners hand off cleanly between access points.
Why shouldn't we use one shared login on floor PCs?
Everyone who ever learned the password keeps access, and you can't tell who did what. Individual sign-ins can still be fast, and they let you cut off a former worker's access the day they leave.
We nearly paid a fake invoice. What now?
Check whether the mailbox was actually compromised, reset passwords, turn on MFA and look for hidden forwarding rules. Then adopt a call-back rule for any payment change. If money was sent, call your bank immediately and file a report with the FBI at ic3.gov.
Do you train staff who aren't fluent in English?
Our engineers speak English, so we keep training short and visual, turn on other-language lessons where the training platform offers them and work with a bilingual supervisor when you have one.
Can we put floor workers on cheaper Microsoft licenses?
Often, yes. Microsoft 365 frontline plans are built for workers who use a phone or shared device. We match each role to a plan so you don't overpay.
What happens if our server fails on a shipping day?
With a tested recovery plan, you follow the steps you've already practiced: restore from a protected backup or start a standby copy, and use the fallback for printing labels in the meantime. We set that plan up with you in advance.
Do we have to sign a long contract?
We go through the agreement terms with you before you sign. We aim to keep clients because the service works, not because they're locked in.
See your site the way an engineer sees it
A site walk covers the office, the floor and the closet where the network lives. You get a plain report of what's fragile and what to fix first, and it's yours to keep either way.
